We are a non-profit providing scholarships to cover tattoo removal for human trafficking survivors, those exiting the gang lifestyle, and others with tattoos that significantly stand in their way of personal freedom.
Tattoo Removal Helps
Survivors of the human trafficking industry share a variety of tragic stories of exploitation and abuse, which can be termed as chains. One such chain are tattoos that oppressors have placed on victims to brand them and for which they want removed.
The survivor exiting the gang affiliated lifestyle commonly possesses burdens placed on their shoulders by the decisions they made in pursuit of survival and security. As the individual steps out of the setting that held them captive, tattoo removal has proven to aid in the rehabilitation process.
These men and women (survivors) have endured severely broken circumstances. Just as we may be able to name chains in which Christ broke for us, through tattoo removal we want to assist the survivor in living out their testimony. We want to see survivors across the county victoriously walk out of clinics no longer emotionally, physically, and spiritually burdened with unwanted markings on their body.
